YumEarth: # 1 Organic Candy in America (samples received)
By Christine:
Around our house we love candy & sweets, but also try very hard to make healthy food choices for our family. That being said, I think the first tooth that came in for both of our girls was their sweet tooth. Ha! I was so happy to receive samples of YumEarth’s organic pops and fruit snacks to try out and review.
YumEarth was born out of a commitment to feed families a diet rich in delicious healthful foods free of high fructose corn syrup and artificial dyes. YumEarth tastes better because they choose real fruit extracts and planet friendly ingredients grown on sustainable family farms to sweeten all of our lives. YumEarth also
has no gluten, peanuts, or tree-nuts, just award winning taste.
To be completely honest, my husband and I ate more of the fruit snacks then our girls did. I was craving something sweet and decided to try them out for myself. I love the texture- they are firm and not so rubbery, gummy that they get stuck in your teeth. Also the fruit flavor is sweet, but not overly sugary. Between the four of us we’ve eaten all of them, so I need to order more before my oldest starts kindergarten next month.
The lollipops are great also, and the flavor combinations are tasty for kids & adults. The bag of lollipops was so big I’ve thrown a few in my purse to have on hand. And I am not too proud to admit that I gave one to each of my girls when we needed to do some shopping at a certain big box store. It was the smoothest shopping trip in a while. I’m not necessarily an advocate of food bribery, however I knew they were getting a healthier treat and I got my shopping done in a relatively stress free way. A win for all!
YumEarth. Good for us. Good for Mother Earth.
