I want to keep my toes toasty warm this winter – especially since it’s snowing here this morning! I live in slippers, so I find that it’s an item I have to replace often, since they do wear out. I really like slippers that have a rubberized “Outdoor” sole, because it makes it so handy to pop outside to grab the mail, toss leftovers to the birds, or whatever. So when I had a chance to review a pair of slippers of my choice from Daniel Green, I went with the Abigail: Not only did it look cozy and comfortable with a sole that can be worn outdoors, but it also comes in leopard print, which is right up my style alley!
I tend to wear between and 8 and a 9 in shoes, so I went with a 9 to be safe. The slippers I received are a 9 Large, Medium Width, and I have to say, they’re really small on me. I can wear them, but they’re so tight that they are uncomfortable and leave a mark on my feet. Everything else about them is good – the fabric is soft and comfortable, I like the design, and if I had maybe a 10, the fit would be better. Fortunately, Daniel Green include a pre-paid shipment label with every order, so if you get a size that doesn’t work for you or otherwise need to make a return, you can do so easily since it’s all ready to do. I feel bad returning a free sample, so I think I might just find a smaller-footed-friend and see if they might want them!
