This post is brought to you by Crocs
I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a moms day off yet, I haven’t had the time to and won’t until tonight and a little bit on Sunday which I am looking forward to. But I did take a little time with myself while Zoe was working and Miles was playing at the park. I sat at the duck pond and had a little me time which is so necessary.
Crocs understands that moms need time to recharge. We spend so much time thinking about our kids and our families and hardly any time on ourselves. Well, I can see a difference when I’m only there for the kids. I get tired, I get grumpy and things sometimes just get well ugly. It’s because I forget. I forget that it’s ok to need me time. It’s ok for me to want me time.
So after my little recharge at the duck pond I walked around the park.
Lithia Park in Ashland Oregon has this amazing river running through it. It’s so relaxing to just stand there and listen to the water running. I think water makes my favorite sounds, the rain, the ocean the river. I just love how peaceful it is.
Crocs is running the #MomDaysOffContest across the blogs participating for the chance to win some really great prizes. Prizes include: ten first placed winners will receive $50 voucher for Crocs and $100 cash and fifty runners up who will receive $50 vouchers. There will be a total of 60 winners! I’m guessing your chances to win will be really good. Crocs will be choosing the winners.
To enter the #MomsDayOffContest you have to follow @Crocs on either Instagram or Twitter. Then you need to share a photo of yourself having a moms day off using the hashtag #MomsDayOffContest and tagging them.

I won’t be getting a whole day off until my kids are grown, but if I had a few hours to myself I would definitely hit the spa!
I doubt I’ll ever have a full day off for the rest of my life. I wouldn’t even know what to do with myself! A few hours would be nice, though.
What a beautiful park! I could definitely spend all day there on my day off.
What a nice place to sit and relax. I love the Crocs sandals, they look really comfortable.
WHAT!? Some moms take a day off? hahaha! kidding! Those crocs are super cute! Didn’t realize they had anything like this!
a moms day off… I do’t believe I’ve ever had one of those but sounds great! those are really super cute but totally not what i think of when i think of crocs!
Those shoes are super cute. I never realized Crocs made so many different styles.
I love Crocs! Super comfy with cute styles!
I love a good mom’s day off! I need one! I really need to consider getting a pair of Crocs.
I definitely make it a point to savor my alone time. Even if it’s just an extra long, uninterrupted shower with some great music playing.
That looks like a great place to spend some time recharging! I always feel like I’m a much better mom after I’ve had some time off!
Love the shoes you picked. I could use a day off to get ready for our fun family vacation. A vacation day before the vacation!
Now that looks super releaxing and peaceful! I would head to the beach…kidless,,that would be very nice not to have to chase kids or make sure they are not too deep, etc. Just for one day 🙂
That river looks very peaceful. I woudl head to the water too. The ocean. I rarely get to go without kids. I’d head to the ocean with my fave book
Thanks for posting the cool give-away.
I agree that you moms need some alone/me time!!
