When getting Shoes for Kids
When you are going to get new shoes for children you need to take into account a few things. One in my opinion is your individual child and their needs. Are they walking? If they are walking then you might want to consider getting them a shoe. Babies and toddlers need to learn with the softest shoe you can find. Most medical experts will say that nothing is best. But as parents we don’t want our kids feet to get dirty or just love cute shoes and the warmth they provide to their feet.
You want a soft sole
Something like leather so it’s breathable
A sole that comes out (kids feet sweat a ton)
Your child’s development
As you decide yes you want to purchase kids shoes then you need to remember how important it is to make sure they fit properly. You do not need growing room because if you have it then more than likely they are going to trip. Learning how to walk can be hard and having a shoe that doesn’t fit properly isn’t going to make it any easier. Some people even say that helping them have proper shoe fitting now will prevent back issues later on in life. Also their feet grow and change very quickly so make sure to check the size of their feet often maybe even every six weeks.
As they grow up:
you will want more support
wear and tear friendly
I’m just repeating things I’ve learned while working at a Shoe Store for two years.
