About two weeks ago I hosted a Find Your Fit party thanks to Lee Jeans. They provided everything and brought enough jeans for everyone to try on about 5 different styles defined by four different body shapes.
Out of the four body shapes I think I’m in between the hour glass and a pear. It usually depends on how active I’ve been for a few months. Did their jeans fit me? Yes, I love jeans, I love different fits and I love different cuts (boot, classic, skinny) and I love Lee. Before they arrived with the jeans I put on my 10 year old pair of Lee jeans that I have been wearing. They have been my favorite pair and now they have been replaced with a new pair, a new style, that fits like a glove and feels like jogging pants. Let’s talk about a few of their styles.
The styles Lee Jeans are pushing most this year are:
· Slender Secret – quality fabric and ultra stretch retains its shape all day long while providing a smooth, slimming look.
· Perfect Fit – the newest fit innovation from Lee uses Shapetastic technology that features a compression mesh panel that lifts the seat and shapes the tummy simultaneously.
· Curvy Fit – more stretch makes this new line hug and flatter curves in all the right places.
· Gold Label – featuring trend-right styles such as the traditional skinny jean and vintage flare.
Good news is once you find your fit it’s color coded on-line and in stores so when you know your size and the style you look for your color and you’ll find your perfect fit in different colors, or fashion. Some jeans have embellished pockets, some have sequins, some have boot cut and some are regular. They even have adorable skinny jeans. The skinny jeans run a size small so make sure you size up when purchasing the skinny jeans. I ended up with purple tags and gold tags. The purple tags are the curvy fit and the gold ones were the perfect fit. I love both styles for different reasons. The Curvy fit is so comfortable, and while the gold fit is quite comfortable too it’s also hugging my curves while hiding them pulling them in and lifting them.
Here’s what the party participants had to say:
I am surprised by how flattering my new Lee jeans are. I remember the Lee jeans my mom used to wear in the eighties & nineties, so I wasn’t expecting to be impressed. The style and cut is contemporary and fashion-forward, but also very flattering. Finding the right fit is so important to me as not only a mom, but also a woman who wants to look her best.
I have received many compliments when wearing my Lee jeans, and every person is surprised when I tell them they are by Lee. I am planning to get a few more pairs in different styles and washes as soon as I can.
“The new “Curvy Fit” jean. Can you say yoga pant jeans?? They are a medium weight denim but with lots of stretch. They are as comfortable as wearing a pair of yoga pants. Comfort, comfort, comfort. Lee has perfected the amount of stretch so you won’t find them hanging from your hips by the end of the day. I like a dark denim and prefer a straight cut. The “Curvy Fit” were the first pair I tried on. I also tried on one other pair with a little bling on the pocket. I liked them but it was unanimous the first pair was my “perfect fit!’”
“as if angels were singing in heaven, the pair fit perfectly. Better yet, they felt fabulous! They skimmed my curves and didn’t cling to them. They have a tiny bit of stretch, just enough to make them comfortable, but not enough to accentuate my plumpness. The waistband has elastic on the inside that makes them so comfy, but they’re free from the telltale old lady gathering on the side. The waistband is completely hidden!”
“My choice was easy; my new jeans were the Perfect Fit Mila Bootcut. As well as fitting perfectly and helping camouflage my problem areas, I love that they have the perfect amount of stretch; not too much to be falling off at the end of the day, but just enough to hug and play off my, uh, assets.”
I received about five pairs of jeans and I can’t wait to share with you how each pair fits and what I like about each style.
