I love being part of the Pampers Baby Board because they encourage and enable us to make big contributions to people in our community. For Mother’s Day we were given the task of blessing new moms by giving them diapers and other items they needed to take care of their new babies. I remember giving birth and how amazing it is to be a mom for the first time. Zoe was just amazing from the moment she was born. She continues to amaze me and lift me up and I can’t imagine my life without her. She is a ray of sunshine in all she does. I was so excited to be able to do this project with her. We had great discussions about motherhood and helping others.
It took us two days to get all the supplies.
We purchased mattresses and mattress covers.
We purchased baby bouncers.
We picked out baby clothes.
We picked out swaddling blankets
We picked out anything and everything you need to take care of a newborn.
Pampers also gave me a year’s supply of coupons for diapers and wipes.
While I was in the store doing some of my shopping we gave coupons to pregnant moms as they were looking at baby items. We also gave boxes of diapers that we purchased away to moms in the parking lot. There was so much joy on their faces. (Randomly giving to strangers in the parking lot surprised Zoe and she said it made her feel good inside, which made me feel good inside)
Now we had to decide how to give away the rest of the items that we purchased for this project. So we found the Pregnancy Center. We chose the Pregnancy Center because they help moms from the moment they become pregnant.
All these supplies will be given to new moms who give birth over the next few days as they celebrate their first Mother’s Day. My daughter and I had so much fun doing this project.
