Make a Plate Kits
(3 and up/$16.99)
With the Make a Plate Kits, kids can design their own plates. (Each kit allows kids to make one plate.) The variety of kits allows kids to draw their own designs, use a favorite photo on a plate, or color in favorite characters, such as the Disney Princesses. Each kit comes with everything you need to create the template for your plate (including instructions, markers, and blank paper) and then mail your template (or photo) to Makit Products’ Magic Factory for processing. To mail, place your drawing into the pre-addressed envelope and attach the correct postage. You’ll also need to fill out and include the official certificate with the drawing. Payment for the plate is also required. The Magic Factory will mold the drawing into a unique 10-inch keepsake plate and ship it directly to your doorstep.
(Ages 1 and up/$19.99)

The Crayola Jewelry Boutique uses Model Magic, a soft and nontoxic modeling material, to let girls design more than 160 unique jewelry beads. You’ll end up with a dual-cone-shaped bead. Gently poke a hole in your bead with the bead puncher tool. Then let the bead dry for at least one hour on the dryer. Once it’s dry, add some shine with the bead glaze, and then string your bead to make necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The kit includes a jewelry spinner and
workstation, eight Model Magic colors, three pendant charms, five bracelet
charms, two shape cutters, a bead punch, four earrings, five toggle sets, a bead
dryer rack, bead glaze, 18 gem stickers, and 132 inches of cord.

Gelarti is a line of reusable gel stickers. Using Gelarti’s specially formulated paint, kids design and paint their stickers, peel them off, and place them almost anywhere. And because the stickers are repositionable, kids can peel them back up and place them somewhere else without the stickers leaving behind a messy residue.
