Disney sent me on an adventure in California a few weeks ago allowing me to have an early preview of the movie Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue. I actually have never seen any of the other Tinker Bell Movies. My daughter has been asking about them for quite a while and I purchased one but by mistake picked out the none-blu-ray edition and had to return it. I never picked up the other edition and we’ve missed out on the whole adventure. However, I was completely able to watch the movie without being lost. You can find Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue on Blu-Ray starting September 21st.
Tinker Bell finds herself going to the mainland for Fairy Camp. She is quite excited and when she arrives there is nothing for her to Tinker with. So when a human motorized car passed by she had to go check out how it worked. Vidia, as many of you may no her is not very easy to get along with. For some reason she decided to follow Tinker Bell to try and keep her out of trouble.
Tinker Bell loves to find lost things, but trouble likes to find Tinker Bell. As Tinker Bell was discovering new things, she stumbled upon a house built for Fairies. Vidia told her to leave but she went right in. The house was built by a little girl named Lizzy and as Tinker Bell was fixing a watch, Lizzy returned. Oh and I forgot to mention that Vidia slammed the door shut so Tinker Bell was trapped.
Lizzy takes Tinker Bell home and the true adventure begins. Tinker Bell becomes friends with this little girl and together they fix a family!
I was so impressed with the graphics and how well the movie was put together. There was so many things that Tinker Bell did with Lizzy that Zoe would love to do. The flying, the learning how to fly even, or what about when Lizzy traced Tinker Bell. That had to be my favorite part of the movie. We trace our kids on the sidewalk in chalk all the time. So now whenever we trace Zoe, she wants wings attached so she can be a fairy. Then Zoe loves to color herself in. It was just a fascinating tale of exploring the mind of a child. It was heartwarming and colorful taking me places I haven’t been in a long time. If you want to go back to childhood watch Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue.
Product Description:
Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in
the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is
discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the
curious girl in need of a friend.
As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy. This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind.
Produced by DisneyToon Studios, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is a captivating
and exciting adventure for all the family.
I received a copy of Tinker Bell and the great Fairy Rescue in exchange for this post.
Nice review, thank you! This movie sounds perfect for my 2 nieces, Annabelle, who is 7 and Emma who is 10. I will have to share this with their mom.

Back-stories can be interesting or tedious. This one sounds interesting!
My girls LOVE Tinkerbell. We do have one of the movies. I don’t think I’ve ever watched it all the way through, I usually turn it on for them while I’m trying to fix dinner, clean the house, etc. BUT, my girls seem to love it, it keeps their attention! And as you said, trouble does seem to always follow Tinkerbell, which I think intrigues the kids, keeps them watching! 🙂
Thank you for the review. My little granddaughter loves Tinkerbell. I will have to get this one for her.
It looks like a cute movie.
my 5 year old wants to see this – sounds like I would like it too!
This sounds like a great movie. The graphics do look incredible, and the story of Tink and Lizzy sounds heartwarming. Thanks for the review!

Though I have a boy he LOVES Tinkerbell! In fact, Tinkerbell was the first Disney character he always recognized … even over The Mouse!
Sounds like a great movie. My kids have loved the Tinkerbell movies so far and this one looks as good as the rest. I can’t wait for them to see the scene where Lizzy traces Tinker Bell. I bet my daughter startes drawing her. 🙂
It’s actually not before she met Wendy. We were briefly introduced to a moment of Wendy at the end of one of the earlier 2 movies. We saw both of those at Magic Kingdom Passholder premiers, and I don’t remember which one it was – but my daughter is named Wendy so we remember that part!
my daughter is so excited about this movie. Every time she sees a commercial she asks if we have that one. Sadly no. But I know she would LOVE it
my son saw the commercial on tv and he wants to see it too…looks like a really cute movie
I still haven’t seen any of the new Tink movies even though I adore her.
The movie sounds interesting, but I am concerned about the gender roles it models; do you have any comments about that?
comes out today! Gotta get to the store.
xoxoxo
I’m glad to have read your review. I’m happy at how good the graphics seem. I hate that when they make multiple movies with a character the more they make the cheaper it looks but sounds like they did a nice job with this one.
Looking forward to seeing this. Thanks for the review!
I have GOT to get this for my little girl! She is going to LOVE it! (me too!) lol

Thanks for this review! My daughter loved the other Tinkerbell movies, but we hadn’t watched this one yet. We’re definitely going to, now!
My daughter’s entire room is Tinker Bell. We definitely want this next chapter in her adventures (we already have the previous two on Blu-Ray)
Tinkerbell is my favorite and will be picking up one for my daughter
This sounds like a good movie, but is it too scary when the door of the fairy house is slammed shut to trap her in there?
Nice review. I’d like to share the movie with my daughter.
Oh my goodness, we have not yet seen this movie and we’re all very excited to. I’m not sure when we’ll purchase it. Perhaps a christmas present?
