I’m very excited for this new original series, The White Princess which is coming to STARZ this Sunday. It takes place between two stories that I’ve watched on other networks. It’s the story of Elizabeth of York and King Henry VII the parents of Henry VIII. Their union marked the end of the War of the Roses but sparked a different challenge.
This story is drawn from the novel by Philippa Gregory “The White Princess”. It’s a tale of power, family, love, and betrayal, charting one of the most tumultuous times in British history. And get this, it’s from the point of view of the women.
These two didn’t necessarily want to be paired with each other, sacrifices will have to be made on each side. I recently sacrificed a lot for my kids. My children decided they wanted to give acting a try. We moved to LA and while I was there, it was really hard to work. I love my blog because I get to work with brands like STARZ. I also get to travel for my blog. We do press events for different TV shows and movies, but when I was with my kids in LA I couldn’t travel. I thought it would only last a year but amazingly, my daughter got a part in a traveling play. We lived in Oregon for 9 months, then in DC for 2 months and in Berkeley CA for almost 2 months. It’s been a very interesting rollercoaster and I’m grateful for the opportunities we had though while we traveled as a family, it was just hard not traveling or having the time I needed to work myself. I missed it so much and am relieved that I get to work again.
In our excitement for The White Princess we have been watching every video we can on Facebook. I’m happy to share this one with you.
