The Real Tooth Fairies
This is SUCH a great idea. Storybooks about tooth fairies and how they get to be tooth fairies! The cute set I received to review included two books, one about Gwendolyn and one about Avalanne and the stories go on to explain how they each became a tooth fairy. There was also a DVD short on how to properly brush your teeth with a funny little fairy, Stepella, who didn’t want to so her teeth were all gross. Girls can log on to a website (with their parents permission/supervision of course) www.therealtoothfairies.com where they can learn how to do kindness activities. Girls can print out kindness tickets – ideas on how they can be kind to others. Their parents then give them Kindness counts ribbons as they move up in levels. And girls can earn rewards! I mentioned receiving 2 books – there are 8 in all. Parents can get a starter kit with a book (I think you start with Stacey), Kindness Kit, tooth fairy outfit (that matches the book) a book charm and a downloadable MP3 –you can order from www.therealtoothfairies.com/starter-kits. You can even order a birthday party kit! The Real Tooth Fairy has an award winning website where your girl can create her own “world” – including a character that looks like her. There is a whole world to explore and enjoy. There is a quiz to be matched up with a Tooth Fairy and other activities, such as, receiving a letter from your Tooth Fairy!
This sounds like such a fun activity for girls to do while getting used to using a computer and safe website. The messages are also really positive – Love, Kindness, Helping each other. Things we need to hear more of and help our girls learn that is what is important in life. The Real Tooth Fairies has already won a lot of awards too: Dr. Toy award for 10 Best Educational Products of 2013 2013 Book of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine Product of the Year 2013 Award from Creative Child Magazine And quite a few more! Check it out!
I met Lynn in MOMS Club and she has two children. One of which is the same age as my daughter and they love to giggle and play together. Lynn Hooper is also a local Mary Kay Consultant while also being a full time mom. “A lot of what the business stands for is true to my heart. Mary Kay Inc. has a foundation that donates funds to help end domestic violence and also funds research into cancers that affect women. Mary Kay also has what’s called "The Golden Rule" which means God (faith) first, family second and business third. A great principal for me and nice to know I am part of a team that believes in this too.”
