Marriott has always been one of may favorite places to stay while on business or traveling for pleasure! Love the rooms, the hotels, meting rooms, banquet rooms and especially the customer servie.

About the commercial and website…I am not sure what to think about the commercial, i thought is was just ok…nothing spectacular and did not mot make me say WOW. However, i do like the upbeat music and the pictures of the hotel that are incorporated into it. And of course i am a huge internet user andI like websites that are user friendly, so I appreciate the message that they are sending to clients and what they are doing for existing customers.

I love Marriott and I am excited about this contest but the commercial leaves a lot to be desired. I am a rewards member so I am loyal to the brand but tell me and others, what improvements were made. Were they to the website or the hotels themselves. What makes things easier? What makes things better? This commercial does not tell me what would want me more likely to stay in a Marriott with the new improvements than another brand?

The images of the hotel are gorgeous and from personal experience I LOVE the Marriott; however at the risk of sounding like Miss Negativity, I have the same problem with this commercial as I do with the “Suitor” commercial and the “Mona Lisa” commercial – lack of relevance. Sure, after reading other comments I realize that perhaps the commercial is aimed at promoting business space but without that prior tidbit of information the commercial seems to have no relevance at all, in fact it seems like two different commercials at once. Watching this on the TV I would be inclined to think that the first commercial with an inventor got cut off by a Marriott commercial. I am a little bewildered by the new line of Marriott commercials to be honest, love the hotel chain but I feel that perhaps a new marketing company is called for.

The commercial was OK–not very memorable if I had seen it on TV. But I think it might catch the attention of the target group–businessmen across many boards. I personally haven’t stayed in a Marriott, but have heard great things about them, and would definitely consider Marriott when searching for travel accommodations.

Business travel can be such an incredible hassle- Love love love the idea of making it fun again & getting back to the idea of why we bother doing it! I like the ad & think it’s funny- like that Marriott is putting faces on their brand(s) because business travel tends to be sort of faceless, anonymous & grey. The suites look like everything a modern hotel room should be- good upbeat ad, I thought.

Unfortunately for the good folks at Marriott, this commercial is somewhat of a mess.
The focal point should be the hotels and their ammenities but after seeing the first half of the commercial, all I was thinking about was what does this guy have to do with their great hotels and by the time I realized it was a hotel commercial, it was over.
I missed out on the great photos of the hotels, the guest rooms, meeting rooms, pool, lounge areas and such by my mind wandering elsewhere and not being focused on the product being sold to me.
I also felt the photos were “rushed” when they were being viewed which could have been avoided had they not focused on the guy in the beginning so much.

I think it’s a unique commercial and is memorable but it doesn’t make me think Marriot so it seems rather forgettable.

My husband and I have been staying at Marriott hotels for many years. We really like the updates they have done.

I think the coffee stirring is a waste of solar energy, but my daughter thinks it might be useful for arthritic people. And what does all this have to do with Marriott, you ask. I ask the same thing. Anyway, glad they have a new site because I love Marriott.
