I loved reading The Hunger Games. I read the first book in two weeks and then book 2 and 3 in one weekend. It was a lot of reading and went really fast because it was so good I couldn’t put it down. That’s why I’m so excited for the movie The Hunger Games coming out March 23rd.

Between all 3 books my favorite parts would have to be the chariot ride/parade/girl on fire in The Hunger Games and the treck into the capital in Mockingjay.
My favorite part of the books is how Katniss and Peeta’s relationship evolves throughout the trilogy. I especially love their relationship in the third book when Peeta has to work through his feeling for Katniss because of the hijacking and Katniss comes to terms with what she really seeks and needs. (I’m trying not to give away the story for those who haven’t read it!!)
Haven’t read the books yet. We just ordered them from the kiddo;s school fundraiser & can’t wait until they arrive. I have heard they are so good! My email in entry is connected to my Facebook. Thanks for the chance!
My fave part of the first book of the Hunger Games is how Katniss lets her guard down with Rue and forms an alliance (since she reminds her of her sister, Prim)…. it shows the soft side of Katniss behind the tough exterior she hides behind.
My favorite part(s) of the book involved the relationships Katniss formed. I have only read the first book and really want to read the next two.
My favorite part of book 1 is when the sponsers/judges aren’t paying attention to Katniss during the pre-Hunger Games portion. I love when she shots the arrows right at them. And then in the following book, how they have the protective shield so it can’t happen again. That girl has some guts. 🙂
I actually haven’t read the books yet – I’m waiting until after I see the first movie.
i loved the books! my favorite part was when they finally got to go home int he first one after outsmarting them with the berries.
I haven’t read the books yet.

Hard to say but have to say the ending of the 1st book is my favorite (don’t want to go into detail and ruin anything)
put wrong email in other comment
My favorite part of the The Hunger Games trilogy was the assault on the Capitol in book 3.
My favorite part of the Hunger Games books was in the second book “Catching Fire.”
During the Quarter Qell Hunger Games, Peeta becomes hurt against an invisible force field/barrier surrounding the Games. When Katniss reacts with such fervor, I knew that she finally saw Peeta as more than a friend or someone to kiss to make the cameras happy. She actually returned the love that he has given her so unconditionally.
I haven’t read them yet.
I have the book but haven’t read it yet

Haven’t read it yet, but can’t wait to!!
One of my many favorite parts of the book(s) is the relationship that develops between Katniss and Rue

I have not read the books yet, but would love to.
I haven’t read them yet but they are on my list now.
I haven’t read them yet, but my daughter has the series and loves it!
My favorite part of the whole series is the very end. It’s not a happy, cheery ending like most books. But it’s bittersweet, and more of a realistic ending for this book series, I think it’s perfect for the concept of the books! 😀
My favorite part was the ending of the last book. It was nice for Katniss and Peeta to have a future together.
My favorite part is that the author keeps you guessing and the twists and turns keep coming until the end of the trilogy. Thanks for the fun 🙂
I have yet to read these books but they sound amazing
the cave scenes… ’nuff said
I haven’t read it.
I haven’t read the books but would like to, can’t wait to see the movie!

My favorite part is when Peeta (when he’s younger) throws out the bread to Kat (even though he got beat for it). …beginning of it all…
These books are still on my list of books to read. Thanks for the chance to win!

I have not read them.
I haven’t read them, but my husband loved them!
My favorite part of the books is the ending (well, the games ending) of book 1 (I don’t want to give it away to any who haven’t read it)
Hi!! I basically loved every single part of all the books (I’ve read them several times) but there is one part that sticks out the most in the first book. I think my favorite part was when Katniss found out that if both members of the same district are the last standing then they can both win. This part was awesome because the whole time you are dying because you want them both to win. The rest of the book is Peeta and Katniss against the rest the Hunger Games. The best thing about the books is that Suzanne Collins but in so many good twists. They weren’t stupid and they were kinda realistic. She had me on the edge of my bed (I read before I go to bed) the whole time. I literally can’t wait to see the Hunger Games!! May the odds be ever in my favour!
I haven’t read them, but my daughter is a HUGE fan! We have our tickets already purchased for next Saturday!
I haven’t read the books (am still reading Game of Thrones series) but I will now seeing as how popular the Hunger Games series is!
My favorite scenes are the interviews with Caesar Flickerman – both Katmiss’s and Peeta’s.
I just read the first two chapters and I liked the part when the boy gave her the bread by making sure his mother couldn’t sell it
My favorite part of The Hunger Games is when Katniss finally “feels” a kiss with Peeta when they are resting in the cave. My favorite part of Catching fire is when Peeta gives Katniss his locket and explains why he wants to save her. It, definitely made me cry, but reinforces how much of an amazing character Peeta is.
have not started yet!
