Kids Love this car from ages 4 to 40. One of our friends from church said that the Kia Soul is his dream car. And I will admit it’s a fun car. It’s so easy to drive and truly is a compact car. Whenever I go over to exercise at the YMCA there is hardly any parking. It’s always so busy, but there are often compact car spaces and I sometimes try to park my mini van in it and it’s a huge pain to get out of the car, well the Kia Soul fits in nicely and with the rear back up camera I’m out of there with no trouble at all. I actually miss the Kia Soul!!!!
My kids love this car just because it’s color is the Green Alien. They constantly asked if we were going to get to ride in the alien car and were super excited when I said yes and really sad when that dad took it to work for the day. Andrew drove it a few times because it gets better gas mileage then our van and has an eco button for even better mileage.
My husband’s first impressions were that he LOVED the pulsating color emanating from the speakers. But he didn’t like the steering wheel. He felt that it was way too busy with way to many buttons on it. I told him he would get used to it if we bought the car and then it would be like second nature to him, plus if he wanted he could use voice control for a few of the things. He drove it for another day and said I was right about the steering wheel.

These features are for the 2013 Kia Soul 5dr Wagon Auto Base General Specs. For the one that I drove. I love the heated seats, the satellite radio, the room in the back and the fold in mirrors. I liked the bucket seats, they were very comfortable for buckets seats and the Kia soul is just very media friendly.
No problem fitting car seats in the Kia Soul, I don’t think you could get three back there, but you might be able to squeeze them in, if you find the really small car seats. I loved that the kids could get their seat belts on and close the door. Some cars don’t allow them the space to do their seatbelts and no way can they reach the door from their seat to get the door but in the Kia Soul they could. I always enjoy a moon/sun roof. We even opened it one day the sun came out. That’s what you do around here in the winter, if the sun comes out you open your sun roof to get a little vitamin D.
My next vehicle will be equipped with GPS, a cool color like the alien green and maybe even and interesting shape like the Kia Soul. At first I thought this was such an odd shaped car and after driving it, I LOVE it from the inside out.
The Infinity Audio System with center speaker, subwoofer, external amplifier and speaker lights bring your favorite music to life with deep rich bass, full mid-range and crisp clear highs. You can have the lights pulse to the music or rotate through colors. It’s a fun feature. So yeah, the Kia Soul has SOUL!!!
We were provided a car for a week for review.
