The Microwave to Love: Panasonic NN-SD997S Microwave.
I love the Panasonic NN-SD997S Microwave it’s Technically beautiful and fancy all around. I’m enamored with the sleek look and how there is a nob to play with. It’s one of the only microwaves I was actually able to figure out without even looking at the manual. And of course it has special settings. It’s Sleekly designed, efficient and and effective kitchen gadget. Panasonic has it all figured out. It’s more than a Microwave it’s a microwave oven with intelligence that delivers even cooking at different settings, not just high, medium and low.

Yes to begin with I’m easily taken in by a shiny new appliance. I was ready to tear out our old one and replace it with this one as soon as I pulled it out of the box. However, since it’s such a nice Microwave we’re going to donate it. Even when my husband saw it he wanted to pull out our old one, he was surprised to find out that the whole in our wall is actually a standard microwave size because the Panasonic NN-SD997S Microwave would be a perfect fit and actually has much more room inside it than our current one does. There is so much space I would be able to put things in there I normally can’t. The nob (Control Panel with Blue LED Dial Ring/Blue Fluorescent ) is one of my favorite features.
The silver button control panel, illuminated neon blue spin dial and generous 6-digit expanded fluorescent display provide a highend look and a practically effortless navigation experience in the kitchen.
I’ve melted butter, reheated pasta with veggies, defrosted frozen pirogues and everything comes out excellent. I’m tempted to try the directions to cook chicken in the microwave from start to finish like it suggests, it just makes me very nervous. My family is very picky when it comes to the texture of chicken anyway. I have to be very careful even when I’m cooking it on the stovetop. I do like the sensor buttons on the microwave. I’m terrible at guessing how long to re-heat something up for. "Sensor Reheat" mode has been spectacular just put the food in, and press the button. With all the technology built into this microwave it has the potential to replace electric woks, electric fry pans, quick cookers and other electrical devices. I’ve watched it as things cook inside and am quite impressed with how it knows to change the power level as it’s cooking. It’s quite a smart microwave.

That is a beauty! I am so in need of a microwave update-no kidding mine is 20 years old. I like the looks of thus alot. if you do a chicken from start to finish keep us posted- I wouldnt even try that unless someone else (with good taste) vouched for it. Chicken is tricky to get just right for picky eaters!
