We’re having an arctic blast right now full of ice and snow so I figure it’s appropriate for an Arctic Giveaway.
All I need is a polar bear. WAIT! Coca-Cola sent me one, I should tell the kids to send it sledding down the hill tomorrow. That would be awesome right? Polar bears have been part of Coca-Cola tradition since 1922, representing icy cold refreshment and friends and family togetherness. But the polar bears need our help in the Arctic. That’s why Coca-Cola is taking action and partnering with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for a campaign called “Arctic Home.” Together Coca-Cola and WWF will raise awareness and funds to help create a safe haven for the polar bear. The Arctic Home website provides information and stats about polar bears. You can even track five live Mama Bears the WWF has tagged in the wild.
I love the Arctic Home Website, I think the videos on it are adorable. Polar bears are adorable. They seem so sweet and cuddly. I know in real life they aren’t but they are so cute to watch. I love going down to the zoo, the other zoo we have, can’t remember the name of it right now but they have a polar bear it’s he’s really cute.
Coca-Cola has made a commitment to helping the WWF and polar bear habitat preservation by donating an initial $2 million and matching donations through March—up to $1 million. To have Coca-Cola match your donation, simply text the code on specially-marked Arctic Home packages to 357357. You can also make donations online at ArcticHome.com. Each donation accompanied by a code from specially-marked packages will not only be matched, but a designated parcel of the virtual Arctic Home refuge will be donated in your name on the site.
You can also find new red “Arctic Home” cans on store shelves. This new limited-edition can advances awareness of our efforts to protect the polar bear’s Arctic home.
