Cooking with wine is much easier than I first thought it would be. Between visiting relatives, gift shopping and colder weather, the holidays can be more stressful than they are merry. Infuse some joy back into the season with a few simple entertaining tips and recipes from Angostura aromatic bitters and Holland House Cooking Wine. Try making this ham recipe with Holland House Cooking Wine.
1/2 cup strawberry preserves
1/4 cup HOLLAND HOUSE White Cooking Wine
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
4 to 5-lb. fully cooked boneless ham
In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; set aside.
With sharp knife, score top of ham in crisscross pattern.
Place ham in shallow roasting pan.
Bake at 325°F. for 1 1/2 hours or until fully heated, brushing with glaze during last 30 minutes of baking.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
