Where to Stay in Myrtle Beach : Let The Dunes Help
Figuring out where to stay can be one of the most stressful parts when planning a family vacation. I actually think that next to travel arrangements, it IS the most stressful thing. Imagine if you could find accommodations that gave everyone in your family plenty of personal space, their own sleeping areas, real bathrooms, full kitchens, and all the comforts of home. Sound too good to be true? It’s not. When I went to Myrtle Beach, we stayed in an oceanfront rental house (“Gone Coastal”) managed by The Dunes Realty, and it was amazing.
The first thing you might think about when someone suggest renting a house on Myrtle Beach is, “That’s not something I can afford!” First of all, it’s important to know that Dunes has an incredibly diverse selection of housing covering several different beaches and locations throughout the Grand Strand. They have everything from small condos, to 2 bedroom cottages to huge 7 bedroom houses. If you’re staying with just your immediate family, a small cottage or condo might work perfectly, both size wise and budget wise. If you’re planning a large trip with several families or couples, splitting the cost of a huge house isn’t really that bad. Something else to keep in mind? Renting houses outside of the peak season can save you a tremendous amount of money. The beaches are still gorgeous in the fall (and in the spring), but housing costs are much lower.
Renting a house on the beach can actually help save money in the long run. When you stay in a hotel with your family, you are pretty much forced to eat out every single meal. Those costs really start to add up. Having a fully equipped kitchen allows you to eat normally and save the money you would spend in restaurants. This is especially helpful is you are traveling with someone who has severe food sensitivities or allergies. Even just knowing that you have a table waiting to sit down at together can be helpful on vacations. No waiting during the dinner rush… your table is always ready. What’s even better is that this one sometimes has a view!
I’ve actually had the chance to use Dunes Realty in Myrtle Beach professionally and personally. We have rented houses with them and shared the cost for a family vacation and even my sister’s wedding. Enjoying their welcoming hospitality when visiting with them professionally came as no surprise. The Dunes is always extremely easy to work with, incredibly friendly, and they really know the area well. Their properties are clean, well taken care of, and come with the things you need to make it feel like home. If you’re trying to plan a last minute fall vacation or family getaway… or even planning ahead for a big wedding event or reunion, check out The Dunes Realty in Myrtle Beach. I really think you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.
