October has come and gone and the weather is getting colder, which means it’s time for homemade hot meals. From lasagna to spaghetti to chili, warm dishes are a go-to fall comfort favorite. I’ve been cooking soups and pasta dishes left and right. Just last week I made a Pasta dish with a Pumpkin Sausage sauce that was amazing. Sausage, that’s right, you can amp up classic recipes traditionally made with ground beef by switching to sausage. And we like to use Johnsonville’s Ground Italian Sausage.
Johnsonville’s Ground Italian Sausage is all natural and come in Mild, Hot and Sweet
I love Mexican food and to me that is my go to dish. I can eat tacos, burritos and enchiladas any time of year. So I chose to swap out hamburger meat for sausage in my tacos and to me it was love at first site.
Sausage Tacos Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Mild Johnsonville ground sausage
1 package McCormick’s Cheesy Taco Mix
Chopped Lettuce
Black Olives
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Brown the sausage
Add the McCormick’s Cheesy Taco Mix and follow the directions on the package
Then serve up your tacos as you would any night.
