Coke Chase Vote For Who Will Be in The Coca-Cola Super Bowl Commercial “Mirage” $100 Giveaway

The Coca-Cola Company will debut a 60-second commercial entitled “Mirage” during the Big Game. And it’s up to us to decide who is going to be in that commercial. Do you want to see Cowboys, “Badlanders, or Vegas-style showgirls. I’m guessing Showgirls will win, but it’s anyone’s game. Here is the premise of the preview to the Super Bowl Commercial: Coke Chase.

The ad follows three factions of characters – a band of Cowboys, a gang of “Badlanders” and a pack of Vegas-style Showgirls – as they chase after an elusive bottle of Coca-Cola. Who actually wins the race is entirely up to fans who log on to CokeChase.com to vote for their favorite faction and slow down their fictional foes by initiating fun acts of sabotage. At the end of the game, the fans’ actions will determine how the storyline plays out and which one of three 30-second payoff ads will air following the final whistle of the Big Game – a first for The Coca-Cola Company.

You can visit CokeChase.com today – February 3rd to get in on the game and choose which group gets the Coke by voting for their favorite characters or committing “sabotage” against their rivals! The rival videos are pretty fun, and you can see those on game day.

 

By following Coke on Tumblr, Instagram, Youtube, twitter (@CocaCola),  Coca-Cola Facebook, you will find yourself in the middle of the action and receive a “behind-the-scenes” look at the characters in their pursuit of the ultimate refreshment on Game Day. You can also share the fun with your social networks by casting a vote for your favorite group on Twitter by using hashtags supporting the #CokeShowgirls, #CokeCowboys or #CokeBadlanders. Those who cast a vote on game-day by tweeting @CocaCola with their favorite faction’s hashtag will receive responses from the team, including a link to the sabotage page on CokeChase.com where you can continue the rally.

As the final whistle blows and the winner of the Big Game is celebrated, Coca-Cola will reveal the winner of the Coke Chase based on fan participation via a 30-second commercial that completes the journey.  Each of the three 30-second spots depicts a different faction capturing the few remaining bottles of Coke available at the remote Oasis Mart. All three will be cued and ready for broadcast while Coke representatives tabulate fan votes and deduct points for sabotages. As the winning team is determined, Coca-Cola will work with the network to air the spot that earned the most fan support.

After the winning 30-second spot hits the airwaves, people who Like or Follow the Coke Chase will be rewarded with additional content, including the alternate 30-second endings so they can see how the desert-based chase could have concluded if another group had reached the bottles of Coke first.

Rio Super Bowl Commercial With Secret Code Tune In

RionoTypeI saw a preview for Rio when I took my kids to see Tangled last weekend. Rio looks like a cute movie about animals and my kids loving watching talking animal movies. Today, Super Bowl fans in the United States watching RIO’s new commercial spot are invited to find the frame with the embedded code that will in turn direct them to a special level on ANGRY BIRDS, Rovio’s blockbuster game, which recently entered into a first-of-its kind partnership with RIO.  That level will take you to a RIO sweepstakes.

AngryBird_Rio_Feature2The sweepstakes winner will attend RIO’s world premiere in Rio de Janeiro on March 22.  That same day, Fox and Rovio launch the highly anticipated “Angry Birds Rio” app.

The spot will be available across the web, including youtube.com/rio, after the Super Bowl.

From the makers of the hit ICE AGE series, RIO is a comedy-adventure, in 3D, about taking a walk on the wild side.  Blu is a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, living a comfortable life with his owner and best friend Linda in the small town of Moose Lake, Minnesota.  Blu and Linda think he’s the last of his kind, but when they learn about another Macaw who lives in Rio de Janeiro, they head to the faraway and exotic land to find Jewel, Blu’s female counterpart.  Not long after they arrive, Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by a group of bungling animal smugglers.  With the help of street smart Jewel, and a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds, Blu escapes.  Now, with his new friends by his side, Blu will have to find the courage to learn to fly, thwart the kidnappers who are hot on their trail, and return to Linda, the best friend a bird ever had.
