The “Human Energy Crisis” is something that impacts all of us. I don’t know anyone who feels like they have enough time do everything, or to truly be well-rested. Inspired by this topic, filmmaker Jordan Vogt-Roberts created a short film which premiered last week at the Sundance Film Festival, presented by Quaker Oats. Check out the trailer above for a glimpse!
Friday morning, I joined my first-ever Google Hangout with Brooke Burke-Charvet, streaming live from the Quaker Good Energy Lodge at Sundance. During this fun chat, Brooke discussed the film and shared her tips on ways parents can maximize their energy. It was great to chat with her and hear her thoughts on balancing a busy career with family life!
You can learn more about the Human Energy Crisis at QuakerUp.com. There, you’ll also see how energized (Or not!) the rest of the country is feeling via their Human Energy Index tracker.
I also got a fun “Quaker Good Energy Kit” last night, packed with delicious Quaker items to help us fuel up. This has been a particularly exhausting week for Jai and I – I woke up at 3:44 AM this morning! – so we were more than happy to share some Quaker treats after a long day! We’re set with some great items for lunches, snacks and breakfast now. There were some other fun goodies included, like a tote bag, winter accessories, and a phone charger – so my phone can be powered up, too! Cute! Would you like to win one of these awesome swag bags for yourself? ETA 1/24: Quaker have generously offered an additional tote for this giveaway, so there will now be TWO winners!
