Good Cook Leftover Turkey Recipe: Poppy Seed Turkey Pizza

December 1, 2013 by Momstart Leave a Comment

’tis the season for serious leftovers. With pounds and pounds of poultry likely leftover from your big holiday dinner, you may need more than a few ideas for how to use them all up!  I’m so proud to be one of the 101 Thanksgiving recipes featured on the Good Cook blog. I used the products I received from Good Cook to make my turkey, and then I used the knives I received from the to make the the leftovers that we enjoy. Here is a recipe that I have used in the past.

Winter’s Pound Cake Recipe

November 14, 2012 by Momstart 15 Comments

By Summer:

I love pound cake … and I don’t understand if you don’t! It’s rich and heavy; perfect for a winter dessert. I’ve dressed up this pound cake for the winter with some cranberries and oranges. I’ve also added a glaze similar to the Poppy Seed Loaf from my St. Nicholas Day post (coming soon).
