There are particular seasonings that are perfect for autumn weather! Anything that is warm, comfort, or creamy is what I’m talking about. And if you want more pizazz in your life, just mince some ginger and add to marinades and stir-fries like Hormel’s Stir-Fry Pork with Peanuts. Add garlic to soups or stews for a little bit of extra flavor and bite. If you’re really adventurous, peel and roast whole cloves to add to your favorite dishes.
Hormel’s Stir-Fry Pork with Peanuts
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 pounds Hormel® Always Tender® Original Flavor Pork Tenderloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 teaspoon minced peeled gingerroot
- 1 cup (1 1/2-inch) pieces green onions
- 1/2 cup House of Tsang® Classic Stir Fry Sauce
- 4 cups hot, cooked rice
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Directions:
- In wok or large skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add pork and gingerroot; stir-fry 4 to 5 minutes or until pork is lightly browned.
- Add onions to wok; sitr-fry 1 minute. Stir in stir-fry sauce. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until heated thoroughly.
- Spoon pork mixture over hot rice. Sprinkle with peanuts.
