I’m excited to be walking the red carpet again and the buzz on the yellow brick road is that the gown color to go with is of course emerald green. As much as I adore the color and already have a suitable dress in that shade, I don’t want to wear the same color as everyone else. So I spent hours last night looking at dresses and what I would like to wear down the red carpet. (I have a feeling it will be a yellow brick road instead of the red carpet so it’s going to be extra special requiring an extra special dress).
Let’s first take a look at some scenes from the movie shall we?
When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
So as you can see all the colors are so bright and vivid. Any color would work as a fashionable choice, the styles of clothing are big and grand. I think Jackets are going to be big and dresses with colors and large shoulders, but accessories your shoulders do not wear shoulder pads. I love how the Wicked Witch’s dress has pointy shoulders out to the side. So as I was looking at dresses last night these are my finds. I made a whole pin board for it. Oz the Great and Powerful Dresses.
I think this dress is my favorite dress, it has the emerald green in it but also a few other colors making it very rich and colorful. Reminds me of the scene with the munchkins.

I’m also getting a feeling that dresses that are flowing and drapery on the figure are going to big. I love all of these off the shoulder dresses.
