As fall gets into full swing by sending our kids back to school I am met with that “Like/dislike” feeling. I love having my kids home with me. I just do. I also love the amount of stuff I get done when they are at school that would otherwise sit undone… for as long as possible. Oh hello ironing board, long time no see.
Like: Random hugs. Dislike: “I’m bored”. Like: Doing fun things like baking, art projects and picnics. Dislike: “How much longer?”
The ringing of the school bell has its own set of likes and dislikes.
Like: The changing of the season. Dislike: Daylight Savings (it gets dark here at 4:00). Like: Sending fun stuff to school their lunch bag. Dislike: Thinking of the fun stuff to put in their lunch bag.
You see, I have a picky eater who could eat the same thing for daaaays and a not picky eater who likes variety every meal. So the challenge is to find something they both like that is healthy, easy to toss in a bag and does not make a huge mess. Enter, Mott’s! Yeah!!
Mott’s is supporting our school with the Box Tops for Education program and supporting us moms with easy, healthy snacks. Both are a huge win in my book!
The Fruit Punch Rush was delicious and just the right amount for them to finish without wasting. The applesauce was in a mess free squeeze pouch (another woo hoo! from me). Both were packaged with Box Tops for the Box Top for Education program. It is truly an amazing team. A win for kids, a win for moms and a win for schools! You can’t get much better than that.
