Macy’s Impulse Spring 2010 Collection Giveaway

Macy’s is my favorite department store right now. I love to get makeup, look at shoes, and keeping up with Fashion. The different lines that Macy’s carries is so diverse that I’m always wishing I could re-do my entire wardrobe. I have just been introduced to the IMPULSE department. The IMPULSE department is a shopping destination for the customer who wants the latest trends from the best Contemporary brands.

The SPRING 2010 Hot List features some of the most coveted items from over 250 Contemporary labels like BCBG, Free People, French Connection, Rachel Rachel Roy, 7 for All Mankind, Splendid and countless more. Some of the major trend ideas for the Spring 2010 season are hinged together by shots of color, from neon pinks, bright yellow, exotic turquoise and fuchsia. The Global Nomad trend is a mix of ethnic inspired prints from around the world, from batik prints and tie-dye in addition to animal prints. One of the Hot List items we are standing for this season is the cargo pant, which works back to all of the amazing embellished tops and global prints. The feminine embellishments such as lace, pearls and crystals take the place of heavy chains, studs and metals.

I love spring, and the warm weather. It brings the opportunity to wear cargo pants, which are lighter than most pants. Also allows me to wear some open toed shoes and short sleeves. The magazine, Good Housekeeping, has named Schwan’s Chicken Pot Pie a winner of a recent taste test comparing various brands’ takes on one of the ultimate all-American classic comfort dishes. I have to agree that it is wonderful. It doesn’t matter if you cook it in the microwave or the oven it comes out flaky and evenly cooked. I’m quite impressed with the quality as most pot pies you cook at home do not come out well unless you cook them in the oven.

I made them in the microwave too but I forgot to take a picture, it’s not quite as golden brown out of the microwave but it is evenly cooked. There wasn’t any cold spots or really hot spots. I’m very happy with our service. Thank you for the review!
