I was working with McCormick and decided to create this Mexican dish, but then I realized that I had to create that Chicken Herb recipe that I posted a few weeks ago to receive payment. However, this dish even though I didn’t receive payment for it is worthy of the blog and sharing with you guys!!!
Mexican Black Bean Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
2 garlic cloves minced
1 14 ounce can of black beans
1 pound Mexican cheese
1 can black olives
1 14 ounce can of tomato sauce
1 package McCormick Cheesy Taco Mix
1/2 package of lasagna
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown the meat with the garlic cloves for five minutes then add the package of McCormick Cheesy Taco Mix
Cook the Lasagna according to package while also continuing to brown the meat.
When the meat is brown add 1/4 cup of water and half of the can of tomato sauce
Then simmer for 2 minutes and then add beans and black olives
Place the rest of the tomato sauce in the baking dish
Layer one layer of lasagna on top of the sauce
Do one layer of sour cream
Layer another layer of lasagna
Then add meat and sprinkle some cheese
Then continue until you are out of food
Cook for 30 minutes
