Until my kids were in school, I had no idea that I would need a special budget in June for all the end of the year/appreciation/thank you gifts I’d be contributing to. There are gifts for the coaches, assistant coaches, dance teachers, music teachers, homeroom teachers, classroom assistants and our friendly bus driver. I know I could simplify this challenge by having my children make their own cards or works of art, but after the first two or three projects they lose all motivation. And I, unfortunately, was born without a crafty bone in my body. Even if I did, I can’t imagine when I would find the time to make something special for each deserving individual. So back to my budget – I’ve tried to steer away from gift cards because how do you put a value on your appreciation? In the past, I’ve gone with eco-friendly grocery bags, water bottles and stationary, but that gets expensive and I can only imagine that many of these items just create clutter for those I want to thank. This year I have found the perfect solution and one that fits my budget: merci chocolates.
Each sleek and smart looking-box of merci Finest European Chocolates contain a selection of seven different flavors including:
