My new great idea was to put on exercise DVDs during rainy days. That way I could encourage myself to get off of the couch and get the kids dancing. We tried Fame first. Fame: Dance Workout (Amazon affiliate link). Three of the actors/dancers from the movie Fame are leading exercises. It made me realize just how uncoordinated I have become trying to do the dance moves was really hard. I used to be flexible and able to kick, shake and shimmy. Maybe with more practice I’ll be able to do that again. Biggest point is that the kids got moving and were quite cute, repeating words that the dancers were using. They were counting and happy. What more could a mom ask for.

I’m going to see if the box art lives up to it’s promise and starting next week, do the Yoga Meltdown every day with the kids. I know it’s going to be great, except for the fact that every time I lay down they just dog pile me.
