The Odd Life of Timothy Green looks like an odd movie but you have to get past the oddness of it. You have to be able to see past people and their differences to love them and The Odd Life of Timothy Green is just that. Listening to the previews and looking at first glance, you might not give The Odd Life of Timothy Green the second glace and I’m here to tell you that you should.
The Movie starts out with Mrs. Green ( Jennifer Garner) crying because she found out it’s basically impossible for her and her husband to have a child. They go home and her husband needs to talk it out to start healing. So they drink wine and write down all the features their child would have. They put all of these ideas into a wooden box and bury the box in the garden. That night a mysterious rain storm hits and out comes Timothy Green.
Timothy Green is everything they wrote in that box and he’s everything Mr. & Mrs. Green need to believe in themselves again. In fact, Timothy Green touches everyone in the town in a way that breathes life and change into a town that was about to go under. I loved laughing and crying as I watched this little boy save a town and a family. He even helped to mend relationships that seemed impossible to touch.
I have two children myself and love seeing my husband in them one day and me in them the next. They bring so much joy to my life and watching The Odd Life of Timothy Green made me want to get home as soon as I could so that I could give them an extra hug and show them how much they help me to grow and change every day and The Odd Life of Timothy Green is going to show you the power of extraordinary love in loving a child. The Odd Life of Timothy Green is a special movie that is much more than meets the eye. To me, it’s a must see family movie for all ages.
