To kick off the spring season and celebrate chino’s rich history, J. Jill is introducing four new live-in chino silhouettes that are the perfect option for layering fresh spring colors and celebrating the warmer weather. The soft, comfortable staple is a must have for this spring, and to inspire you, J. Jill’s designers and stylists have put together some of their favorite tips for wearing chino in 2014. I of course use children to accessorize. They wouldn’t get out of the way for you to see the outfit but I also have a small think gold belt and amazing shoes.
How would you dress this dress?
There are four chino options: Live-In Chino Ankle Pants, Live-In Chino Boyfriend Pants, Live-In Chino Shirtdress, and the Live-In Chino Skirt. What exactly is Chino? Chino is also known as khaki. It’s traditionally a 100 % cotton fabric often constructed in a twill weave similar to denim. What makes J. Jill’s so amazing is how soft it is (broken-in softness) and the stretch is so comfortable. These are designed in a sateen weave for added smoothness. Their Chino has a slightly peached surface making it extra touchable.
Chino is also machine-washable and to make your own. Like the dress above you can accessorize that so well and everything matches it. You can dress it up or wear it relaxed. J. Jill has refined silhouettes including the new slim ankle and boyfriend. They are flattering trendy and perfect for layering. The more you wear it the better it looks, it gets softer and softer and you’ll fall more and more in love with it. Plus some of the styles come in four different colors. I love the look of this cream color.
