We have done a S’mores post every year for the past five years I think, maybe even longer because we love Hershey’s. As one of the most defining flavors and experiences of summer, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers have brought families together for decades. This year we decided to get creative. Not only did we end up with really amazing S’mores with Hershey’s Chocolate we had fun making it together and eating it when it was all done. SO this is what we did. I went to the grocery store and since it’s summer you can get most of the supplies on sale.
Materials Needed:
Hershey’s Milk Chocolate in assorted sizes
Melted Marshmallows
Graham Crackers
white or brown sugar (for the sand)
Directions:
Assemble your house using the melted marshmallows as the glue. I also used something to stabilize the sides until the marshmallow firmed up a bit. (cans of veggies work well)
Then made the rest of the walls stand up
After the graham cracker walls stood up on their own we used more marshmallow cream to adhere the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate.
I used two flat pieces on front to sort of be a bed and then the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate packages represent pillows inside our little beach house.
Then we had to enjoy our house right?
Be sure to join us for National S’mores Day on August 10 by making your own S’mores-themed goody bags for an upcoming summer birthday party, or trying out a cute S’mores centerpiece on your patio table like we did. Just use Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers to your sweeten summer!
We also wanted to share some of these other great ideas you can re-create with your family.
