I needed a pick me up last week and the pick me up didn’t last long because it was gobbled right up. The kids made Halloween Sugar Cookies. We didn’t make the icing or sprinkles though!
We got out all the ingredients and mixed them together. Then we had to let it cool in the fridge overnight. So the next day we rolled them out, cut out our fun Halloween shapes and the decorated them.
My husband tried his hand at rolling out the dough and he quickly passed the baton onto me. This particular cookie recipe was very sticky and hard to roll out. We found that letting the dough warm up just a tad helped us in the rolling out process, that and extra flour everywhere. The other thing about this recipe is that it doesn’t make very many cookies so you should double or even triple it.
