I’m working with Glidden and so far it’s been so much fun. If you read last week, I gave my front door a make over with the Glidden Trim & Door paint. Step Two is going to be Zoe’s room and I have not painted it yet. We’re going to get that done in the next two weeks. We did however make our trip to Walmart and spent about an hour looking at colors and trying to decide which color to get. I was quite indecisive as Glidden has so many different colors to choose from. For Zoe, it was an easy choice, purple or pink. But I wanted to get a little more creative with her room. I was thinking trees, butterflies and flowers. Yep, I’m crazy but it’s going to be amazing.

When painting a room you need to determine how much paint you need. Glidden.com has a paint calculator which allows you to enter the number of walls you want to paint, their dimensions, and then tells you how much paint you will need. I used this tool to determine that we don’t quite need two gallons but that’s what I purchased.

Then I had to decide which finish I wanted. I think with kids and dirty fingers always touching the walls I really wanted to go with the Glidden Two in One, the Glidden Brilliance Collection Interior Semi-Gloss Medium. Glidden Brilliance Collection paint, a Glidden line recently launched at Walmart stores nationwide, is a 2 N 1 paint that has paint and primer in one can.

We did have a lot of fun picking out the paint and getting all of the needed painting supplies.
