Get Healthy, Get Organized, and Save Money… All With @Emeals!
By: Ashley
I’m not a fan of New Year’s Resolutions, but I AM a fan of making good choices and changes in life. When you do things that have a positive impact on your life, it can give you just an overall boost in “feel goodness” (and yes that is an official term ;)). When I am more organized, I automatically feel better about… well… pretty much everything! When I’m making healthy choices for my family and saving money, it’s just amazing! eMeals is an online meal planning tool that helps me do all of those things.
I go into a little more detail about what eMeals.com
actually is below, but I wanted to start off by telling you what I HONESTLY think about their program. Like I said before, I am an organizer. Meal planning is HUGE for me. I even have a board in my kitchen just for our weekly meal plan. eMeals is truly a great tool that can help anyone, organized or not, have the same success with meal planning. I don’t use eMeals exactly as it was designed. I look at the plans they send me for the week, and usually choose 2 or 3 from their list. That’s not because they don’t all sound amazing, but more because I still use some of our own family favorites some nights and add in a couple of nights for leftovers. To me, having a solid meal plan really does help my family eat healthier and stay on budget.
Recently, I have added eMeals breakfast plan to my subscription… and I LOVE it! During pregnancy, having a good breakfast is SUPER important for me. Not to mention I have a husband and little boy who like a good meal in the morning. Scrambled eggs are great and full of protein, but can get old. Especially since my husband works from a home office, knowing that I not only have to get dinner ready every day, but breakfast too…whew! I can honestly say that adding breakfast to our meal plan chart (with the help of eMeals) has made a big difference. We just had California Toast the other day from an eMeals recipe and it was AMAZING! (Look for that recipe here on MomStart) It has left me thinking about adding their lunch subscription too!
So what is eMeals? A brainstorm of great recipes? A grocery list already made for you? A way to stick to a grocery budget? Something to help you eat out less? YES! It’s all of those things. Here is how it works.
– Go to eMeals.com
– Choose the meal plan option that works best for your family. They have TONS of options including Low-Fat, Paleo, Natural and Organic, and Classic. Recently, they even added a breakfast meal plan (my new favorite), and a lunch plan (packable lunch options). Don’t worry if you change your mind on which dinner plan you like. You can change it up once a month.
– Choose how long of a subscription you would like. (3, 6, or 12 month)
– Make your payment. (Discount codes are usually available online, even in this post, and their prices are super low. As much as $7 a month and as low as $5 a month for dinner plans.)
– Each week receive your meal plan(s) and grocery list.
– VIOLA! A week’s worth of meals ready to go. (After you shop and cook of course! J)
So that’s it. That’s eMeals in a nutshell. I’m lucky enough to be a part of the eMeals Blogger Network which gives me the inside scoop on discounts, new additions, and exciting eMeals news. I’ll be bringing all of that and some great recipes to you throughout the year. With a new baby on the way, I KNOW I’ll be hanging on to the little bits of health and organization that I can! I’m also a member of the eMeals affiliate program. If you sign up for eMeals, you can get your own affiliate account. A very cool perk to an already awesome program!
Don’t forget, check out the DELICIOUS California Toast Recipe on MomStart. It was SO good!
