I received samples from Goodbyn, They’re a small company started by a mother of three who was frustrated with the mess and waste of typical lunch boxes. Their kids’ lunch containers – the Bynto and On the Go -  hit Target shelves this month, something they are pretty excited about and so am I.

My kids are in summer camp and I’ve been making or helping them make their lunches every day. My kids are very independent and very vocal about what they eat every day. I usually load up plastic bags with veggies and fruit and we risk the chance of it getting squished. Plus there’s this huge interest in making bento boxes for children to have as their lunch. I love the idea, it’s a chance to give kids a very large variety of healthy options. You know what they are eating every day.

Goodbyn makes great bento boxes now my kids will just need a larger lunch box to hold these new bento boxes. Other products they make include sandwich holders and little bitty containers that could be used for dressing on salads or dip, or maybe seeds. Whenever we go to the zoo or take any kind of family day trip I make our lunches and usually my husbands is the one that gets squished. Now I’m so excited to keep his sandwich from getting squished.
