I’m Dipper In Planes Fire And Rescue

July 3, 2014 by Momstart 9 Comments

One of my very favorite things to do is a voice over. I love to visit Disney and do a voice over for a movie. I’ve been Piglet from Winnie The Pooh, Olaf from Frozen, Dottie from Planes, Vanellope from Wreck It Ralph. And I love doing it every time. It’s not as easy as it looks but practice does help the confidence inside the booth.

This time we had a script and were supposed to time the words correctly. Sometimes they have the words on the screen and you have to read them off the screen this time we had a little music stand with the script. We get to wear the headphones so we can hear the other person’s lines and then we say ours. Here I am in the studio and you can hear the lines, but what you can’t hear is the director inside the recording booth giving me specific instructions.

As you can tell, even though I’ve done this a few times, I still need a lot of direction. This is me with the animation.

Planes is a really cute movie and Dipper is a great character. She’s a huge huge fan of Dusty’s and follows him around. She has a lot of energy and is great at putting out fires.

Disney’s The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary Edition

September 4, 2010 by Momstart 2 Comments

I have never seen or heard of Disney’s The Black Cauldron before this announcement, maybe it’s because it came out originally when I was only five years old. The only thing I can remember from that time is Rainbow Bright. It actually looks like a movie I could get into with the kids though. Disney’s The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary Edition will be released on September 14th 2010.clip_image001

DVD FACT SHEET

The Black Cauldron, Walt Disney Pictures’ 25th animated feature-length film, celebrates its 25th anniversary with a Special Edition DVD release September 14 from Walt Disney Home Entertainment.  Based on Lloyd Alexander’s Chronicles of Prydain books, this mystical, action-packed adventure debuts just in time for Halloween. The film tells the story of Taran, an apprentice pig keeper with dreams of becoming a great warrior, who embarks on a quest to find a magical and powerful Black Cauldron before the evil tyrant Horned King can possess it for his own diabolical purposes.  Fantastical characters like the oracular pig Hen Wen, the willful princess Eilonwy, and the droll but annoying Gurgi face witches, elves, magic swords and other obstacles.  As they journey through these thrilling escapades, Taran begins to learn the true meaning of what it is to be a hero.
Exciting new bonus features for The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary Special Edition include a new game and a never-before-seen deleted scene as well as a new digital transfer.
New Bonus Features Include:

  • Deleted Scene—The Fairfolk: Viewers join Taran, Fflewddur Fflam, Gurgi and Princess Eilonwy as they travel into the depths of the earth and meet the Fairfolk.
  • The Witches’ Challenge Game—In order to defeat the dark powers of the Horned King, players must gain possession the magical sword from the Witches of Morva by solving their riddles.

Plus Classic DVD Bonus Features:

  • Still Frame Gallery—A compilation of behind-the-scenes artwork and photos.
  • Quest For the Black Cauldron—A trivia game in which players compete against the evil Horned King in a race to reach the Black Cauldron first.
  • Trick Or Treat—Classic Donald Duck cartoon from 1952.

Disney Blogger Day 2

September 1, 2010 by Momstart 8 Comments

IMG_4493 So I’ve decided to extend my coverage to two more posts after this one. I experienced so much magic with Disney that it just couldn’t be contained in two posts, there had to be Four, so this if you are a regular reader you will see is post number two. I spent the night at the Marriott’s Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood. Just a hop skip and a jump to the Kodak Theater and the Walk of Stars!

The magic continued on day two with sleeping in. Oh, well my body wouldn’t let me sleep in so I got up at 6:30 just like any other day and decided to use a few hours to get caught up on blog reviews and giveaway posts. I can’t thank Disney enough just for the quiet time you provided me. I zipped out some writing and have 12 posts scheduled out. Woo hoo!

The day began with having our cameras taken away and with good reason. They revealed quite a few secrets and bouts of magic that can not be fully described with words and photos. Only a little pixie dust will do! Which is why there is another full post coming!

dancinglessonsThey fed us well again, in fact, I think I’m off my diet and back up again. We’ll see  how my jeans fit when I get home. After lunch we had Ballroom Dancing lessons with Christian Perry, choreographer for Dancing With The Stars. I loved dancing and wished it would have lasted even longer. Everyone said I looked great on the floor, but I’ve taken lessons with my husband before (and I kicked my partner quite a few times ;-)). I think every wife should get their husband to take them dancing. Christian said to get your husband IMG_4445in a headlock and not to let go until you arrive on the dance floor. Let the dance hall take care of everything else. He was a great instructor as were all of the dancers he brought with him.

Christian Perry is in the picture on the right and I can’t remember the name of the guy on the left.

After dancing we had another break and then we met for dinner. The rest of the Disney magic was my favorite part of the entire event. They gave us beautiful books about Beauty and the Beast. Disney never forgets the details.

IMG_4449The tables for dinner were beautifully decorated and the lighting was excellent. I just loved every detail. then were we had the biggest surprise of all. We were provided with two Disney original sketches, what I mean by original is that they gave us drawings made right there and each one was different from the IMG_4462other. We watched the artists draw in front of us.

Magic Magic and more magic. we then met Belle, the voice of Belle. Paige. Wow, she is an amazing woman, animated character in real life, and constantly contributing to charity. And meeting her will be post four!

I also made some lasting friends and perhaps that will be another post altogether. Thank  you Click Communications for inviting my to come out and experience some true Disney magic first hand.
