Even though I have over 1,000 posts I’m supposed to do, I want to do some posts for me. So I’m posting about how my husband said I went Suzie Homemaker last weekend decorating our dinner table. I went so far overboard I don’t even want to eat at it, the kids on the other hand are ready to have a big fancy meal and try out all the Christmas dishes I got out of storage. So for the center or our table I made a centerpiece out of Christmas ornaments. Here is how you can also make a centerpiece out of ornaments.
The first thing you need to do is gather your supplies.
What you will need:
An empty glass jar or vase of some type
Various Ornaments:
A handful of ornaments that you aren’t putting on the tree.
I found three tall candy canes at Target
A box of glittery Peacock feathers (they are hard not soft)
Directions:
I placed the candy canes and feathers in the jar to see how I wanted them arranged
Then I started filling the jar with ornaments
Then before it was completely full I put in the candy canes and then filled it the rest of the way with the star ornaments
Lastly I put in the peacock feathers
You could also just as easily fill any container with ornaments and it makes a very easy adorable centerpiece.
