Are You Cleaning Cluelessly The Honeywell QuietClean Tower Air Purifier Giveaway

April 30, 2015 by Momstart Leave a Comment

Are you cleaning regularly? Do you vacuum? Do you have allergies? What are your concerns with you indoor air quality? I never really considered my indoor air quality. We don’t have pets anymore, I don’t leave the windows open because I have allergies and I don’t want to breath in all that outside air. Honeywell sent me a Honeywell QuietClean Tower Air Purifier and I kind of like it. In the room that we have it in it just felt more comfortable. It was probably in my head but really I liked it. It blew just a tiny breeze so it made the room feel cooler. The kids shut it off. I turned it back on when they left the room. It’s quiet, the only reason we knew it was on because the room was a tiny bit cooler.

Clear The Air With Febreze HEPA-Type Tower Air Purifier!

December 7, 2014 by Jessie 1 Comment

feb1
Sample provided.

Ah, the wafting clean scent of Febreze. There is nothing better to help to combat the lingering odor of catbox and Indian cooking in my small, stale apartment. The Febreze Air Purifier not only freshens the air but actually cleans as it releases a nice smell. It operates with scent packs and air filters that are easily installed and changed periodically. Just snap, pop, and go. Perfect for people looking for a low maintenance air filter.

feb2Although it is important to remember that the Febreze Hepa-Type Air Filter is exactly that – hepa-type (which differs from a true-hepa filter), it is a nice choice for an affordable air filter for people with typical allergies. While I would recommend a true HEPA filter for a chronic allergy sufferer like myself, I am not at all disappointed in the performance of the Febreze Hepa-Type Air Purifier. It does help to eliminate the debris in the air and cuts down on the pet dander that runs rampant in my cat-shack.

feb3One thing I noticed about this air purifier is that it doubled as a fan, which isn’t too unusual, but different from air purifiers I have owned in the past. When I first plugged it in and turned it on, a nice cool breeze drifted forth and gave my tootsies an extra chill that was especially noticeable because our building’s boiler had gone out the night before. I immediately wished I had owned this wonderful creation 2 months ago in the late, hot, dreadfully muggy summer, but knew it would come in handy once the repair man breathed life into our boiler once more. Sure enough, two nights later, the Febreze Hepa-Type Air Purifier joined me and the kitties in the bedroom. I was delighted by just how quiet it could run and we slept quiet happily and not quite broiled alive in the rejuvenated power of our radiator. Although the noise of the fan naturally picks up with the higher speeds, even on high it is relatively quiet and almost inaudible on the low running speed. I feel that it does contribute to a better living environment and helps to eliminate some common allergens. Not to mention, thanks to the Febreze Hepa-Type Air Purifier, I was able to invite my friends and family over to dinner without embarrassment of the Eau du Cat Box and the daily air performance of Dance of the Cat Hair.

Oransi Ionic Air Purifier Review & Giveaway

April 15, 2011 by Momstart 183 Comments

My fridge doesn’t stink, but it does smell. I guess I should use the past tense … my fridge now smells like nothing! I’ve been using the Oransi Ionic Air Purifier for the Refrigerator. When I got my mailer I opened it to this small light weight little machine. I added just two AA Sanyo eneloop rechargeable batteries, pressed the button to turn it on, and added it to a shelf in my fridge.

clip_image002The Oransi Ionic Air Purifier for Refrigerators:

  • Eliminates food odors
  • Kills bacteria
  • Reduces food spoilage
  • Prevents mildew
  • Sterilizes the fridge every 2 hours
  • Neutralizes stale and foul odors with fresh air

On one set of AA batteries the Oransi Ionic Air Purifier lasts for 60-90 days. Using rechargeable batteries I pay nothing for the upkeep. Unlike similar products, the Oransi Ionic Air Purifier has no filters to replace … EVER! On the Oransi site their Ionic Air Purifier is only $39.00 but it is currently on sale for only $29.00 with no shipping charges. In fact, my mom is in town and was so impressed with mine that she ordered one for her refrigerator. The Oransi Ionic Air Purifier is perfect not only for the fridge, but for closets too – cloakrooms, shoe cabinets, or laundry and bedroom closets.

You may remember Oransi as the same great company that offers the Robby Wash Laundry Ball.

Christmas in July: Oreck Air Purifier Giveaway

July 27, 2010 by Momstart 419 Comments

snowmanchristmasevent Last week with the Christmas in July Giveaway series I concentrated on all of the reviews. This week, Tracy is the lucky gal that is getting to review the items. My husband and I have been discussing the need for an air purifier. We all have allergies in this house and we have a house fan. I’m not sure if you know what that is or not. New houses are built so sealed up that you have to run a fan once a day to make sure that you are circulating the air. It probably also has to do with the fact that we use gas, but I’m not entirely sure. We run it at night and in the morning we are all stuffed up. So it is driving us crazy. We are also considering getting a dog and dogs kick up all kinds of dander. So, we’re wondering if we should get an air purifier.

The Oreck Air Purifier has three great claims and I can’t wait to find out if Tracy likes hers or not.
