Pregnancy brought me some nasty stretch marks. I went way overboard when it came to eating for two. I was ALWAYS starving and at one point I was actually eating for three. When Zoe was 6 months old I became pregnant with Miles and I decided to continue breastfeeding Zoe until the last possible moment. I can’t blame one pregnancy in particular though for the stretch marks, I got them with the first pregnancy and then I was even larger with the second one, so my tummy, although small enough for a bikini now, isn’t suitable for a bikini because of the stretch marks. Know how much weight I put on? I went from 140 to almost 200 lbs, that’s 60 lbs people babies are not that big. Thus, I have stretch marks.
I think after the fact there is only so much you can do for stretch marks, so I’m not really into trying to fix the problem. I did use a few lotions while I was pregnant but it wasn’t to prevent stretch marks, it was to relieve the itching. Pregnancy made my tummy itchy. I knew about MUSTELA and the possibility that it would prevent stretch marks, but I’m AWFUL at any kind of daily beauty regimen, and I was convinced, yes convinced I wouldn’t get any stretch marks. HA! was I wrong about that.
Mustela has a kit just for pregnant moms that want to minimize the stretch marks and hydrate their skin during pregnancy. And my favorite part about Mustela is how wonderful it smells. I LOVE the Mustela brand, I may not have used the Mustela stretch mark survival kit on myself, but I did use their products on Zoe and Miles. They have a full baby line too!
