Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it can be easy to skip. One of the ways I set myself up for morning success is making sure I have something easy to eat first thing in the morning, so that it won’t take too much effort as I shuffle to the coffee maker. 😉 Cereal is one of my favorites because it’s as easy as it gets, and it’s always good. I have, on more than one occasion, purchased cereal to eat in the evening as my dinner after a very long day!
I was recently introduced to Honey Bunches of Oats Whole Grain, a new cereal from Post Foods. As the name suggests, this cereal is packed with 33 grams of whole grain per serving, making it a cereal that fit in nicely with my household’s New Year’s resolutions! This cereal comes in two flavor varieties: Honey Crunch and Vanilla Bunches.
This cereal has a consistency similar to granola, and lives up to the “Crunch” in its name! I poured myself a bowl of the Honey Crunch and really enjoyed it.
Not to be outdone, Vanilla Bunches also made a case for its deliciousness:
With its light, sweet hint of vanilla, this one came out on top as my favorite flavor.
Jai really loved both of these cereals – in fact, he noticed them the day the package arrived and said, “Hey, can I open those??” He ate them both and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite because he enjoyed them each so much. He said that Honey Bunches of Oats Whole Grain are now among his favorite of these “Granola-type cereals”, as he calls them. These were a big hit and great for breakfast – or any other time!
