Spring Into Germ Fighting… With a Sani-Brand Giveaway
By: Ashley
I’m not a complete germ-a-phoebe. We play in the dirt, frequently initiate the famous “5 second rule”, and a quick snack on the go doesn’t always come with clean hands. That said, I DO wash hands regularly… and after especially germy situations. I keep my Sani-Brand wipes with me pretty much all the time which is great since most of those “especially germy situations” happen when we are nowhere near soap and water. (It’s the#1 disinfecting wipe used in hospitals and doctor’s offices, so I’m pretty comfortable with it getting the job done!) It’s true that the worst of cold and flu season seems to be behind us, but I still want to do what I can to keep my family healthy. I can honestly say that Sani-Brand wipes are a staple in my purse/diaper bag, in the car, and by the table.
Recently, Louise and I were on The Balancing Act to spread the word about Sani-Brand… and to share a few pictures of kids in the germiest of situations. If you missed it, the segment is still available online. It made us all think about the germy situations kids are going to be getting into now that spring has sprung… and that got us thinking about how much Sani-Brand can help keep your family’s hands clean. Remember, clean hands is the number one way to prevent sickness (according to the CDC). We all know that there is nothing worse than being sick when it’s warm and sunny outside!
What makes Sani-Brand so special? If you use alcohol based gels, you have to use A TON and allow it to dry in order for it to be most effective. In clinical studies, the friction created by Sani-Brand wipes creates TWICE he removed of soil and other organic materials from the hands over the use of alcohol based gels. Not to mention, since it’s a wipe, you can use it on surfaces too! Since Sani wipes contain Vitamin E and Aloe, they won’t leave your hands dry.
So far this season, Sani-Brand has helped me clean up the following DISGUSTINGLY germy situations that left me thinking, “This Calls for Sani!”
· Atticus had some gum stuck on the bottom of his shoe. Already gross, but not nearly as gross as both of us getting it on our hands as he tried to pull it off and I tried to clean it up! Sani-Brand wipes were used on his hands, my hands, and even his shoe!
· A park without a handy soap and water sink included some hands on the rocks near the ducks. Let’s just say that ducks have working natural body systems. YUCK! Sani-Brand to the rescue.
· Sitting down in a local food court, we noticed there were some questionable things on the table. Since it was the only place to sit, Sani-Brand wipes were there to clean the table AND our hands!
Can you think of a germy situation that your kids have been in recently? Of course you can! All you need to do is share that “This Calls for Sani” situation with us and you could win a season’s supply of Sani-Brand! Follow the directions is the Rafflecopter below and YOU could have Sani-Brand to help you when you’re stuck in those “This Calls for Sani” moments.

Sometimes you find a public bathroom that would NOT get the Good Housekeeping seal..And you have no alternative and you have to use it. I think that in our lifetime’s , we have all been there! Mine was on a girl’s evening out traveling to AmericanPlayer’s Theater and out downfall was in Black Earth , Wi. We needed a pit stop , were unfamiliar with the area and stopped at this grimy filling station. Also as we continued on our journey 1/2 mile down the road was a brand new shiny clean station!
