Job 9: 19
If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?
Today my observation was all over the place with the different scripture passages. We read Job 9, 10 and Acts 13 and 14. Job had everything and then lost everything because the Lord knew that Job would always love him and follow him. Job seems to have an understanding of God that most people struggle with. For some reason this passage stuck out to me because it’s so profound. God is mighty. He is strong, he is just and his will WILL be done. He is in charge of all. Even Paul knew this and tried so very hard to share the news and word of God with everyone, but not all would listen. Paul was almost stoned to death but he was still alive because God could not be challenged. God is strong and mighty and Paul had more work to do for the Lord. I’m not sure I could have that strength, well, with God I could
God can give me strength, God can help me face the day and things that need to be done. God can make decisions for me and God knows my heart. I do make mistakes, I’m human, he loves me no matter what. I shouldn’t hold onto my mistakes because God doesn’t.
Dear God help me to let go of my mistakes and forgive myself. Help me to have the courage to admit to others when I do wrong and trust that if they forgive me or not, GOD had forgiven me and I need to let it go. I remember Pastor Phil saying something about get over yourself because everyone else already has. It’s so true and I pray that you help me remember that others don’t think about me as much as I do.
