I was provided with a blender to review. All of the opinions are my own.
If you are looking for the one blender that can truly do it all, you don’t need to look any further than the Ninja Ultima Blender. Yes, I realize how incredibly cliché that remark is, but after spending some time with the Ninja Ultima this skeptical lady was beyond impressed.
For me, bigger does not always mean better. I knew that the Ninja Ultima had a 72 ounce blender jar making it larger than many professional blenders. I also knew that it had a unique blade system (two blade systems that spin at different speeds), and a lot of horsepower (1500 Watt / 2.5 Peak Horsepower Motor). The product specifics didn’t really have any meaning to me though… until I actually got my hands on the Ninja Ultima and had the chance to try it out.
Before you use the Ninja Ultima, you should definitely take a little time getting familiar with the set up and the features. While it does have some general things in common with your average blender, the mechanics, set up, clean up, and actual blending are different. When using the big pitcher, there are several speed options in addition to the pulse option. In all honesty, this is something I missed the first time I used it. Note to self: pulsing and actually blending are two different things.
The versatility of the Ninja Ultima is what impresses me the most. I’ve always thought of using a blender to mix smoothies or make frozen drinks, but I never realized how many other uses it can have. The strong horsepower and amazing blade speed allow anyone to create incredible chef style recipes on their own. I love that there are Ninja friendly recipes online. I especially can’t wait to try the Sweet Red Pepper Spread recipe. It looks DELICIOUS! With all of the culinary creations that the Ninja can help you come up with, I really think this is the kitchen tool for every cook. I’m actually hoping to share at least one recipe of my own with you soon!
What do I love most? I love the individual serving cups with snap on lids. I have been making some healthier eating choices lately and would love to start doing more smoothies. With the ease of these personal cups, I have no excuse. Especially when the other thing I absolutely love about the Ninja Ultima is the ease of cleanup. It’s all dishwasher safe (except for the base of course). I LOVE that! I also have to admit that I even love the price when I compare it to similar products. With a MSRP of $199.99, the new Ninja Ultima Blender is the most powerful blender available, and it’s only one third of the price of the Vitamix 750!
The Ninja Ultima is a great tool to have in your kitchen. It can make smoothies, sauces, soups, purees, and I’ve even used it to make baby food. I’ve even seen examples of people using the blades to essentially grind meat to make their own meatballs and nuggets!
If you want to learn more about the Ninja Ultima, you can find them online. You can find some more of the great recipes I was mentioning earlier too!
