I have been selected by Find Your Influence to be a spokesperson for Bertolli. While I have been compensated for my time, my opinions are my own
Bertolli is a common name in our house, I use their pasta all the time. So when I was asked to participate in a campaign with them of course I said yes, it’s a great fit. Bertolli has these really easy to make meals in the freezer section. In our family one bag made for two people serves three of us (two kids and one adult) when we add a protein or a side salad. (they are perfectly prepared for two) I imagine within a few years my son is going to be able to eat a full size serving on his own so that will no longer work. He hasn’t shown his hollow leg or double stomach quite yet, but he does eat a lot.
Bertolli is asking you guys to create a Mangia Moment and capture it in a series of photos that capture the night. Then they want you to share a photo on social media.
About Bertolliís Mangia Moment Campaign:
Bertolli originated as an Italian brand of extra-virgin olive oil, it grew into an international brand of Italian and Mediterranean food. The company was founded by Francesco Bertolli in 1865, in Lucca, Tuscany. “In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Bertolli is headed to wine country and getting an invitation is easy. All you have to do is show how you dine like an Italian-share your Mangia Moment and you could take your friend to an ultimate Italian event in Wine Country where it’s all ‘mangia’ all the time. 5 entries that embody the most Mangia spirit will be awarded with a trip to attend Bertolli’s Mangia Themed event in Wine Country, CA to celebrate Bertolli’s 150th anniversary, in Spring 2016. Disclosure:some entry content will be chosen to be featured on the Mangia Moment site, and could be selected to be utilized in Bertolliís upcoming advertising campaigns! Bertolli Multi-Serve Skillets are found in the freezer aisle of grocers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $7.89.
Now that doesn’t completely explain what a Mangia Moment if you’re not Italian. I mean, I have no idea what it means to be Italian except for the fact when it comes to a glass of wine I like my glass always full.
An authentic Italian meal is the sum of all the experiences that happen around the food. The people that matter most, the boisterous conversation and inevitable laughter, the unexpected turns the night can take- It means eat, the authentic Italian way. The Bertolli way. Just in case you want to enter which I hope you do because you could win here at MomStart, I have a few other ways to have a #Mangiamoment.
Chew with your mouth closed. But only if you’ve got nothing to say.
* The guest is always right. Unless she thinks it’s too late.
* There’s no such thing as “indoor voices.”
* No subject is off the table, at the table.
* Always make room for one more.
* Let your hair down.
* Talk over one another.
* Speak with your mouth. But talk with your hands.
* Not knowing how the night will end…and not caring.
* If your glass is half-empty, it’s time to fill up again.
* Always have an open-door policy.
* Add your own touches.
* Having one more serving.
* About doing your own thing.
* The furthest point from formal.
