Ripley’s Aquarium In Myrtle Beach: Video Tour – #Myr_60Days
It is not too late in the year to plan an amazing Myrtle Beach vacation. There is so much to do there! Most of the time we think about heading to the beach to get some serious sand and surf time. That’s still an option since the temperatures are still perfect beach weather, but Myrtle Beach has so much to offer year round.
When I was there in September, we all went to Ripley’s Aquarium and took going to the beach to a whole new deep sea level. The aquarium is spacious and you actually have enough space to enjoy yourself. At 85,000 square feet, there is actually room to move around. Full of interesting exhibits, (including some hands on opportunities with horseshoe crabs and sting rays) there is definitely enough to keep the whole family entertained. To top it off, everyone will probably learn something along the way which makes it a definite Myrtle Beach bucket list item.
One of the main features at Ripley’s Aquarium is the moving walkway. You step onto the walkway and are taken through a breathtaking display of underwater sea life. By moving under the glass, it feels like you are in the water with all of the creatures… including the sharks! (I guess this is where I admit to GIANT goosebumps when we were watching the sharks swim all around us…;))
Ripley’s Aquarium is open 365 days a year! That means it will be there waiting for you no matter when you take your beach vacation. And while we’re on the topic of vacation planning, make sure you check out the Myrtle Beach Pin to Win Contest. You’ve still got time to create a board on Pintrest for the chance to win a Myrtle Beach vacation. Check out the rules and then get pinning!
