We love the Richard Scarry’s Busytown books. We have the Busytown cars book and Miles loves to read it over and over again. Looking at all the different kinds of cars. I think my favorite car is the banana car, but his is the pickle car.
Busytown: Busytown was created by Richard Scarry. It’s a fun crazy filled town that keeps the eyes busy for hours. There are books, toys and even a TV show. It’s the liveliest, funniest, busiest town around! Based on Richard Scarry’s classic books enjoyed by generations of families, children would love to be surprised by an Easter basket filled with a Richard Scarry’s Busytown vehicle pack, figure pack or mini plush. Miles even verified it when asked. He said that would be cool mom! The vehicle and figure packs are compatible with most wooden railway track play systems. A comprehensive Richard Scarry’s Busytown play system is available, too, so kids can collect them all or build a Busytown all their own! These toys are available at Toys”R”Us stores nationwide or online at ToysRUs.com. And recommended for ages 3+.
We received a package of toys to play with and since it was Miles’ birthday we asked if he wanted them and of course he said yes. So then we asked if he would be willing to donate them to charity. He had to think about it because he said, “but mom, I love them”, “they’re my favorite”. Then he said, “you mean kids that have no toys at all?” And we told him yea, so he said ok. That’s a good idea, they will like it too.
You can ‘Like’ Richard Scarry’s Busytown on too Facebook.

I had a big Busy Town book when I was little. It’s somewhat ripped and in very bad shape but I can still remember being a little girl and looking at it. There was always something new on the page I hadn’t seen before.
I love watching the show because both of my kids get so excited when they figure out part of the mystery. I like the books because of how familiar the characters are since I read them as a child.
Thanks!
Michelle W.
