I’ve been trying to lose weight but keep failing. I know the reason is between my travel and stress I’ve been eating a lot. I always get hungry the minute I step into an airport and I’m eating until I get home. Then when I get home I just don’t feel like exercising and mentioning exercise I don’t ever exercise when I’m out of town. SO it’s been a rough ride and I’m terrible about eating breakfast. Breakfast is the most important part of the day and I’m terrible at it. I’m a terrible example to my kids and that’s going to change. I’m going to change. I’m going to take care of my body and show the kids how to take care of theirs.
As part of the Quaker brand’s mission to fuel healthy living, we’ve teamed up with Quaker and they teamed up with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck to judge the Make Your Move Video Contest. Parents and teachers could submit videos of their students “making their move” to get active.
The contest was part of an ongoing partnership with Fuel Up to Play 60, the nation’s largest in-school wellness program. Winners of the grant were announced in January. Congratulations to the 15 prize winners! Hundreds of schools participated in the contest,and 15 won grants to help fuel their play. Now You can still help schools around you.
