First you need to know there are three different seats available. They call seat 2 the safe zone and 3 is supposed to be the sweet zone and four is intense run for the hills you don’t want to sit there zone.
I partnered up with two girls that wanted to sit in the safe zone and volunteered for the seat number four thinking it couldn’t be that bad right? Wrong! It’s intense. The whole ride is an intense longest minute of my life ever!.
It starts off like, oh wow this is going to be fun, even the first turn isn’t that bad but going into turn two, three, four, suddenly you feel like, is it over yet, is it over yet. Ever couple of seconds the G-force would smash my head into my stomach and the smashing sensation goes through your neck. I started to think it has to be over soon, has to be over soon and suddenly after turn six we started to slow down and I was hoping, no praying to God that it was over and I could get out of this torture device. I got up and was extremely dizzy and shaky. And although I’m not sure if I would ever do it again, I know I would never sit in seat four again, I can proudly say, I’ve taken a bobsled ride and experienced over 5Gs.
Disclosure:
(check with your doctor before doing something like this, Sony paid all travel expenses and for the experience)

Bobsledding is on my bucket list! I’m glad to know about the different seats. We recently learned we can bobsled in Calgary which is only a little over three hours from us…next winter for sure!
