We were just introduced to the JENNIE-O All Natural Turkey Sausage. We are moving towards eating more all natural foods with simple ingredients, and trend reports say we aren’t alone. The newly formulated turkey sausage aims to offer a delicious turkey option that is minimally processed, free of BHT, BHA and other common preservatives, all with reduced sodium content and a delicious new flavor.
The JENNIE-O® All Natural Turkey Sausage is as versatile as it is delicious and can be used in a variety of different recipes that are quick and low in calories; like the Turkey Sausage Breakfast Burrito, or the gluten free Mexican Turkey Frittatas, and the Turkey Breakfast Burritos Jar – a perfect solution for those on-the-go mornings. With the samples we received we made a pizza and one night used it to “spice” up some macaroni and cheese.
Potato & Sausage Pizza
Jennie-O All Natural Turkey Sausage
One or Two Red Potato Chopped
Shredded Fontina (or other white cheese)
1/4 cup Capers
Premade Pizza Dough
Brown the Jennie-O All Natural Turkey Sausage then let cool
Boil the Potatoes until tender
Grease a sheet pan
Roll the dough onto the pan
Top with favorite toppings (sausage, cheese, capers, tomato sauce, cheese, potatoes, spinach, chopped parsley)
Cook 375 for 15 minutes
