Sony paid for my hotel, flights and this helicopter tour while I was staying in Hawaii for the Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle Press Junket.
Wow, this was my very first time to be in Hawaii and it was just as amazing as I expected. Hawaii is lush, green, and full. It’s colorful and full of varied terrain. The trees are gorgeous, and the volcanoes are amazing, while of course there is still a beach, coves and the majestic ocean. Taking a helicopter tour is the only way to see all of that when you are only in Hawaii for a very short amount of time as we were. And it gives you the opportunity to feel the rush of adrenaline of having a Jumanji size adventure as you weave up and down the beach, the valleys and come face to face with a water fall. To me that was the scariest part. And I love helicopter rides. We had an amazing time taking the Jumanji Welcome To the Jungle Helicopter Adventure in Hawaii.
Our Helicopter Tour began with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Rides. We traveled to the beach and over the ocean.
Then we went right over where Jumanji was filmed. Jumanji was filmed at The Ranch. (LOOK SOME INFO ON RANCH). Talking with the director and producer, if they could do it in the jungle then they filmed it in the jungle.
Our final focus was over Pearl Harbor. I can’t describe the feeling of flying over Pearl Harbor and seeing the Arizona still underwater. It’s depressing, humbling and powerful all at the same time.
Check out all our video and photos.
Jumanji is in theaters December 20th.
